Musicians of the Month

This month, we celebrate our orchestra & band students that participated in the 2025 Region 23 Full Orchestra and String Orchestra UIL competition.  Each year, Haskett Junior High Orchestra students participate in the Region 23 UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest where they must perform three different selections as well as learn an entirely new piece they have never seen before. Each ensemble receives six scores from six separate judges. This year, each group received Straight 1’s (Superior Rating) from every judge earning all three groups a UIL “Clean” Sweepstakes! This is the highest possible rating any ensemble can receive at UIL. Go Huskies!
